Passenger Bites Flight Attendant's Arm on All Nippon Airways Flight

A flight operated by Japan's All Nippon Airways, en route from Tokyo to Seattle, was forced to return to its departure airport after a 55-year-old American passenger bit one of the flight attendants' arms, reports TBS television.

According to Tokyo police, the plane took off from the Japanese capital on Monday evening. Shortly after takeoff, passenger Michael Travis Hallyard reacted aggressively when crew members asked him to return to his seat and subsequently bit the arm of one of the airline's staff, causing minor injuries to the woman.

The aircraft returned to Tokyo's Haneda Airport, where the man was arrested.
