The fraudsters hack hotel accounts on the specified website and send messages to individuals who have made reservations on behalf of the hotel. Specifically, the messages indicate that there is a problem with the reservation and that the bank card details need to be reconfirmed, providing a link to a fake website that closely resembles Booking.com.

Be cautious when receiving emails requesting reconfirmation of your card details and do not enter your banking information on the site linked in the email. If you have concerns regarding your reservations, try to verify directly with the hotel or through Booking.com.
