The ministry congratulated "all voters and candidates who participated in these elections, as well as those who were elected." In the statement from the German Foreign Ministry, it is noted that Germany maintains close relations with Taiwan in many areas and wishes to further expand them in accordance with the "One China" policy.

Additionally, the ministry emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region. "Germany is committed to preserving the status quo and building trust. Changes to the status quo can only occur peacefully and through mutual agreement. We hope that both sides will continue to make efforts to resume dialogue," German diplomats stated.
