Three Orphans in Gavar Apply Violence Against 16-Year-Old Girl, Reports Say
On January 13, operational information was received at the Armenian Police Department regarding a conflict that occurred in a children's orphanage in Gavar, during which one of the residents suffered physical pain. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
Specifically, operational teams of the police arrived at the orphanage, where, in the presence of a psychologist and a caregiver, a 16-year-old girl resident reported that she had been in a dispute with three other girls from the orphanage, aged 17, 15, and two 16-year-olds, over household matters. During this confrontation, the other girls inflicted hits on various parts of her body with their hands and feet.
According to the website, documents have been prepared concerning the incident, which will be sent to the Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
