Violence Against Paramedic While Performing Professional Duties

A recent incident of violence against a paramedic occurred in Yerevan while the medic was performing their professional duties. This was reported by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, on her Facebook page.

“I strongly condemn what happened and expect a lawful assessment. Acts of force and violence against employees who ensure the safety of patients are gross violations of legal order. Our approach to these issues will be intolerant and consistent,” wrote Anahit Avanesyan.

She also informed that the doctor is currently receiving medical assistance.
