Snow Falling in Certain Regions

As of January 13 at 17:00, due to heavy snow and blizzard conditions, the section from the Jermuk intersection to the Sisian intersection, as well as the roads from Lzen to Tatev and from Tatev to Aghvani, are closed to vehicles with trailers.

Snow is falling in the regions of Ashotsk, Meghri, Kapan, Goris, Sisian, and Martuni. There are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Abovyan, Hrazdan, Gavar, Aparan, and Aragats.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed to vehicles with trailers, while it is difficult for other types of vehicles to traverse. Other interstate and national roads remain open. Road construction crews are engaged in snow removal and treatment with salt and sand on the roadways.
