Larsi Closed for Trucks, Ministry of Internal Affairs Reports

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads within the territory of Armenia. Due to road renovation works until February 15, the segment of the M-6 highway from Vanadzor to Alaverdi at kilometers 38-40 will be closed for buses and trucks with trailers or semi-trailers. A detour will operate through the town of Noyemberyan.

The roads leading from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and Kary lake are also closed. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and is difficult for other vehicles to pass.

The road from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan is closed for trucks with trailers. Snow is reported in the Syunik region. There is black ice on the roads in the Syunik, Aparan, and Aragats regions, particularly in the bends of Tigranashen, Dilijan bends, Dilijan-Vanadzor, Ushi-Artashavan, and the roads in Noyemberyan.

Fog is observed in the Vardenyats Pass.

Regarding Larsi, it has been reported that based on information from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is closed for trucks. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
