US Not Interested in Yemen War, Says White House

The coordinator for strategic communications at the White House, John Kirby, has stated that the United States is not interested in the war in Yemen, including ground operations or any other conflicts.

According to a report from RIA Novosti, he responded to journalists' inquiries about whether the US and President Joe Biden are prepared for war in Yemen and potential ground operations there: "We are not interested in the war with Yemen; we are not interested in any type of conflict," he said.

Kirby emphasized that "everything the president does is aimed at preventing any escalation of conflict."
