Scandalous Story Centered on Hovik Aghazaryan

According to the newspaper "Hraparak," Hovik Aghazaryan has found himself in a scandalous story. On December 25, he received a call from Arman Smbatyán, an employee of the RA Investigative Committee, who informed him that a person named Hayk had contacted him and reported that a woman claimed she had given Aghazaryan $23,000 to assist in obtaining a construction permit. However, the MP neither helped nor returned the money.

Smbatyán sent Aghazaryan a voice message in which the woman insisted that she had given money to Aghazaryan. Aghazaryan suggested a meeting and a confrontation with the woman, stating that he would prove that such allegations were unfounded; otherwise, he would contact law enforcement.

After some time, Aghazaryan was informed that the woman did not wish to meet. Nevertheless, Aghazaryan presented himself to the law enforcement authorities and filed a report regarding the incident. Yesterday, the MP also announced that law enforcement had not yet identified the woman who allegedly defamed him.
