Russian Foreign Ministry on US Actions

The US strikes on Yemen represent yet another example of the manipulation of UN Security Council resolutions and a complete disregard for international law, all in the name of escalating tensions in the region. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on her Telegram channel. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

Zakharova stated, “The US airstrikes on Yemen are yet another instance of the Anglo-Saxons undermining UN Security Council resolutions and completely ignoring international law for their destructive objectives in escalating the situation in the region.”

We recall that it was previously reported that the US and the UK had begun operations against the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) targets in northern Yemen.
