Dangerous Food Products Found in 'Nor Zovq' and Other Stores

Dangerous food products have been detected in the sales network. This was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia (FSIB).

The inspectors from the Kotayk regional center conducted control measures in the 'Nor Zovq' store in the village of Verin Ptghni and in a food sales point owned by individual entrepreneur Laura Mirzoyan in Abovyan city.

As a result, expired food items were found in 'Nor Zovq', including one piece of raw smoked frozen meat product, one piece of red pepper sausage (cooked meat product) frozen, two boxes of extra creamy butter, and one box of butter (pasteurized cream).

Additionally, non-compliant food products were identified lacking expiration dates and storage conditions, including 11 kg of Lori cheese, three boxes of melted vegetable fat mixture, and two kg of salami sausage, which lacked nutritional value indicators.

In the store belonging to entrepreneur Laura Mirzoyan, expired food products were found, including three boxes of cream pastries, 13 boxes of smoked cheese, one piece of jerky, nine pieces of Adjara khachapuri, and two boxes of fish fillet somga with incomplete labeling.

The mentioned products have been removed from sale and destroyed on site.
