57.5 Million Dram to Replace Police Summer Uniform Fabric
Today's government meeting included a project aimed at amending the Armenian Government's December 12, 2013, decision No. 1446, which allocates 57.5 million dram for replacing the summer uniform fabric for police officers in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The justification for the project indicates that the 'Summer half-cotton trousers' and 'Summer shirt with epaulettes', provided to police forces, are only allocated one piece per year, which, when worn daily, quickly becomes unusable. Additionally, the personnel do not have replacement uniforms.
The proposed project plans to obtain the summer uniforms from a fabric composition that will ensure comfort in wearing the uniforms and longevity in appearance maintenance, as well as hygiene standards when replacement uniforms are available. Public order maintenance units will also be provided with appropriate types of uniforms that will make their service combat activities comfortable while wearing necessary weapons, special tools, and gear during service.
With the adoption of this project, an additional requirement of 57.5 million dram will arise for the procurement of 'Summer trousers' and 'Summer shirt with epaulettes', which will be carried out within the framework of the general allocations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
