VIDEO: Wrestler Vazgen Tevanyan Reaches Finals

In Zagreb, Croatia, at the International Wrestling Federation ranking tournament (non-Olympic), Armenia's sole representative, freestyle wrestler Vasgen Tevanyan, who is a European champion, bronze medalist of the World Championship, winner of the World Individual Cup and has qualified for the Paris Olympic Games, has reached the finals in the 65 kg weight category.

In the semifinals, Vazgen Tevanyan won against Puerto Rico's Sebastian Rivera, the world runner-up, with a score of 9:1. In the quarterfinals, Tevanyan defeated Hamzat Arsametzyuev of France with a score of 12:1 and in the round of 16, won against American Joe McKenna with a score of 5:2.

In the finals, Tevanyan’s opponent will be Iranian Rahman Amouzadeh.
