Thieves Rob Home of Former Prosecutor General Official in Yerevan, Stealing Millions and Gold Jewelry
According to Shamshyan.com, on January 5, a 29-year-old resident of Yerevan, V.V., alerted the Central Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about a burglary at his relative's house.
The informant reported to the police that on January 1, an unknown person or persons used technical means to open a window on the third floor of the private house located at 25 Arpenik Nalbandyan Street in Norq Marash, entered the premises, and stole a significant amount of money and gold jewelry.
The robbed house belongs to 29-year-old Harutyun Malakyan, who previously worked at the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia and is currently abroad. It is reported that thieves took approximately 15 million AMD and gold jewelry valued at around 10 million AMD from his home.
