Road Department Reports Current Snowfall Locations

The Road Department reports: As of January 10 at 19:45, due to heavy snowfall, the roads from the Jermuk junction to the Sisian junction and the Ltsen - Tatev section are closed for vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers.

Snow is currently falling in the regions of Dilijan, Martuni, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, Sisian, and Meghri. Fog is present on the roads in the Tavush and Goris regions, with visibility reduced to 30-50 meters.

All other interstate and republican roads are open. Road construction teams are carrying out cleaning and salting operations on the roads. To avoid accidents, incidents, and congestion, drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
