Pambukhchyan Appoints Associates, Son of Hovik Aghazaryan Dismissed

According to the newspaper "Hraparak", the son of the ruling party MP Hovik Aghazaryan has recently been dismissed from his position as Deputy Mayor of Nor Nork. In his stead, Armen Pambukhchyan, the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan and curator of administrative districts, has appointed his friend, Armen Sargsyan.

Hovsep Aghazaryan was appointed to the position of Deputy Mayor of Nor Nork during the de facto mayoralty of Avinyan. This is not the only administrative district that Pambukhchyan is staffing with his close associates.

As for Armen Sargsyan, he worked at the "Finka" credit organization from 2009 to 2021, where Pambukhchyan was also employed. Since 2021, Sargsyan has joined the Ministry of Emergency Situations, led by Pambukhchyan, starting as the head of the procurement regulation department for buildings and constructions, later becoming the Secretary-General of the Ministry's State Emergency Service, and since 2022, serving as an advisor to the minister.
