The Department for the Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has concluded four settlement agreements to date. This information was provided by the agency in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.
The media outlet had asked how much property the Prosecutor General's Office has requested to have returned and how much the accused individuals have agreed to transfer.
The agency presented the names of the individuals with whom settlement agreements have been reached, indicating the amounts they paid and the quantity of property involved.
- Former First Deputy Director of the National Security Service's Protection Service (former head of the security detail for the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan) Vachagan Ghazaryan and associated individuals have transferred four immovable properties located on Isakov Avenue to the Republic of Armenia for a total market value of more than 2 billion AMD.
