G7 and Several Countries Held Secret Meeting in December: Bloomberg
The G7 and several countries held a secret meeting in Riyadh in December with representatives from Ukraine to discuss the possibility of peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing its sources.
It is noted that the meeting took place on December 16. Among the participants were Saudi Arabia, India, and Turkey.
According to the media outlet, the negotiations were conducted partly in secret so that participating countries could feel "more comfortable." Agency sources indicated that the small-scale format of the meeting allowed for a freer and more candid discussion about the Ukrainian "peace formula," as well as principles for potential future cooperation with Russia.
However, according to sources, the participants did not achieve significant successes during the discussions.
