VIDEO: Farmers Protest Week Begins in Berlin with Over 500 Tractors and Vehicles

In front of the Brandenburg Gate, 560 tractors and vehicles of German farmers have gathered. This marks the start of the farmers' protest week against the government's plan to abolish tax relief on diesel fuel.

Roads are being blocked across many regions of the country, leaving only the emergency lane open for transportation.

Reports state that the protests are officially registered, and the use of violence by authorities is unacceptable. The national protest week organized by the Farmers' Association will conclude with a demonstration in Berlin on January 15.
