Former Colombian President Provides Guarantee for Ashotyan

The detained Vice President of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Armen Ashotyan, has received a guarantee from former Colombian President and current President of the International Union of Centrist Democrats, Andres Pastrana.

Armenian National Assembly member Haik Mamijanyan has revealed who else has provided guarantees for Ashotyan's change of detention measure. Among them are not only Armenian officials but also former and current foreign officials, including the former president of the OSCE PA, Georgia's former Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the chairman of the political council of the "European Georgia" party, Giorgi Tsereteli.

From Armenia, guarantees for Ashotyan have been provided by the Vice President of the Armenian National Congress, Levon Zurabyan, former National Assembly Speaker and former Prime Minister Khosrov Harutyunyan, founder of the "Heritage" party, Raffi Hovhannesyan, and National Assembly members Aghvan Vardanyan, Aspurham Krpeyan, Gegham Manukyan, Anna Mkrtchyan, and Tigran Abrahamyan, among others.

It is worth noting that today is the date of another court session for Armen Ashotyan, during which the issue of changing his detention measure will be discussed.
