Zahharova Comments on the Idea of Creating a European Army

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zahharova, has commented on the idea of creating a European army. She advised the EU to think about creating an army only after considering the development of a vaccine against the coronavirus or learning to protect its borders humanely.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, stated that the European Union should form its armed forces capable of playing a role in maintaining peace and preventing conflicts.
