Japan's Position Remains Unchanged: Unannounced Visit of Foreign Minister to Ukraine
Japan's Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa has arrived in Ukraine for a visit. According to media reports, this information comes from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noted that Kamikawa held a meeting in Kyiv with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. During her visit to Ukraine, Foreign Minister Kamikawa reiterated Japan's unchanging position of standing by and supporting Ukraine even in the current complex international environment, the report states.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Kamikawa will embark on an overseas trip from January 5 to 17, during which she will visit Germany, Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, Turkey, the United States, and Canada. The visit to Ukraine had not been announced in advance.
