Footage circulating on Telegram channels shows Sevastopol residents hearing how Russian air defenses are repelling an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Crimea. The audio captures the sounds that the residents of Sevastopol experienced during Ukraine's assault on the peninsula.
According to the city's mayor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, the attack is being repelled, several targets have already been hit, and there is no damage to infrastructure. The Ministry of Defense also reported to journalists that Russian air defense systems have destroyed 10 Ukrainian-guided missiles in the skies over Crimea.
According to the agency, the attack on Russian facilities located on the peninsula was thwarted around 17:20 Moscow time (18:20 Yerevan time). The ministry classified the incident as an act of terrorism.
In Sevastopol, where the missiles were expected to fall, alarms sounded around 16:40 Moscow time (17:40 Yerevan time).
