Zakharova Congratulates the USA

Maria Zakharova, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has congratulated the USA on its record national debt. She made the statement on her Telegram channel, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"The US national debt has exceeded 34 trillion dollars. Congratulations (С Новым годом!)" she wrote.

Earlier, the US Treasury's website reported that the American national debt has surpassed this threshold for the first time in history.
