Reports circulating on Telegram channels claiming that Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing a sensational announcement regarding global security in the coming days are false. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, to RIA Novosti.

It is worth noting that earlier, Marat Bashirov, a professor at the Higher School of Economics, wrote on his Telegram channel that Vladimir Putin might make a sensational statement soon concerning global security issues, including the situation in Ukraine.
