‘It is clear that the police would not have stopped the vehicle of the President of Artsakh on their own initiative’ – Tigran Abrahamyan
The patrol service stopped the vehicle of the President of Artsakh, stating that 'it has been warned that he does not have the right to travel with a motorcade as per the law.' This was reported by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'I Have Honor' faction, on his Facebook page.
‘It is clear that the police would not have stopped the vehicle of the President of Artsakh on their own initiative, especially since they would not assume the function of warning him. The authorities, acting like petty 'small hooligans,' are doing everything to destroy anything related to Artsakh—the slightest symbol or institution that reminds of it. This is not even a personal issue; the message is that the institution of the President of Artsakh or Artsakh itself no longer exists. It is yet another manifestation of disgust and humiliation, which surely will not be the last,’ he wrote.
