VIDEO: More than 5 Tons of Goods Attempted to be Imported from EAEU Countries Without Declaration – SCS
Over 5 tons of goods have been attempted to be imported from EAEU countries without declaration or using the details of other individuals. The State Revenue Committee (SRC) has made yet another discovery.
As part of inspection activities at the Bagratashen customs checkpoint, products imported by a company under different "transit declarations" were inspected in two cases. "It was found that both trucks contained numerous undeclared goods, including wire, engine oils, auto spare parts, memory devices for computers, recording devices, and television receivers, which were not included in the accompanying documents. It was also revealed that the values of several goods indicated in the invoice were declared at prices significantly lower than the market value," the SRC press service reported.
In another case, during the inspection and documentation check of goods imported by a different company from Russia, undeclared goods were discovered in the truck, including new clothing, phone accessories, and devices for electronic cigarettes, among others. The values of several goods noted in the invoice were again declared at prices far below their market value.
When inspecting the cargo compartment of a truck imported from Russia under a transit declaration, it was found that there were undeclared goods, including a heating boiler, auto spare parts, cameras, and pipes for electronic cigarette heating devices.
In all four cases, customs violation reports have been drawn up. The total weight of the undeclared goods amounted to 3,402 kg, while the goods declared under names that were not their own weighed 1,806 kg. The values of the imported goods have been adjusted, resulting in a significant increase in the taxes owed to the state budget.
