Tallest Christmas Trees in the CIS Countries: Yerevan in the Top Three

The tallest Christmas trees in the CIS countries have been erected in the capitals of Turkmenistan, Armenia, and Uzbekistan. The main tourist portal of the CIS, TurStat, has presented the ranking of the tallest Christmas trees in the capitals of CIS countries for New Year 2024.
According to TurStat, the top ten tallest Christmas trees in CIS countries include:
- Ashgabat (44 meters)
- Yerevan (37 meters)
- Tashkent (35 meters)
- Baku (34 meters)
- Bishkek (32 meters)
- Minsk (30 meters)
- Dushanbe (30 meters)
- Moscow (25 meters)
- Astana (25 meters)
- Almaty (20 meters)
The ranking was based on studies of the heights of the main Christmas trees in the capitals of CIS countries.
It is also noted that among the main New Year trees in the capitals of the CIS countries, the only live fir tree is the one in Moscow, standing at 25 meters tall, located in Red Square near the Kremlin.
