Azerbaijani Human Rights Defenders Visit Illegally Abducted Leaders of Artsakh

The Chairman of Azerbaijan's Committee Against Torture, Tural Huseynov, Vice Chairman Elchin Shiriniov, and Head of the Legal Department Rovshan Mamedov visited Araik Harutyunyan, Ruben Vartanian, David Manukyan, and Levon Mnatsakanyan, who are being held at the Main Investigative Department, according to reports from opposition media.

“During the meeting, the aforementioned individuals expressed satisfaction with the conditions of their detention. They noted that regular walks are organized for them, and arrangements have been made for weekly phone conversations with family members. They are provided with necessary books, have access to television and an electronic library, as well as the opportunity to use a gym. A lawyer has been appointed for them at the request of family members. Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delivered parcels sent by their relatives from Armenia,” said Shiriniov.
