Explosion at Nickel Processing Plant in Indonesia Results in Fatalities and Injuries

At least 12 people have died and another 39 have been injured due to an explosion at a nickel processing plant in Indonesia. This was reported by AFP, citing a representative from the industrial park.

“Currently... 12 people have died as a result of the incident, and 39 people have been injured,” the agency quoted the industrial park representative as saying.

According to the agency, preliminary investigations have indicated that the explosion occurred during maintenance work.
