Four-Year-Old Boy Killed in Front of Parents: Details of the Incident
A four-year-old boy was shot dead in front of his parents in Los Angeles. The incident occurred on Friday around 7:30 PM local time, as the child's parents were driving along the Sierra Highway in Lancaster and encountered suspicious individuals.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office reported that the deceased boy was Gor Adamyan. "During the incident, the suspect's vehicle cut them off, then began to follow them down several surface streets," authorities from the LASD stated.
During the pursuit by the suspects, the victim's driver slowed down, at which point the suspect's driver pulled up alongside and began firing. Gor was seated in the back seat of the vehicle. His parents, who were in the car, immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspects have been identified as 29-year-old Byron Burkhardt and 27-year-old Alexandria Gentile, both arrested on suspicion of murder. A representative for the family told ABC News that the parents are demanding life sentences for the suspects.
Gor’s mother stated that they were en route to a grocery store when the incident occurred. She recalled hearing her son scream, “I’m hurt.” Those were the last words she heard from her son. The boy’s parents were not injured.
