Which Roads Are Covered with Black Ice?

The Rescue Service informs that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the 'Amberd' high mountainous meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kary are closed.

On the road leading to the city of Jermuk in Vayots Dzor region, as well as on sections of the Tatev-Ltsen, Goris-Sisian, and Sisian-Zanger roads in Syunik region, there are instances of black ice present.

According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
