New Details Emerge About the Shooting at Prague University That Claimed 14 Lives
The number of victims in the shooting at Prague University on December 21 has reached 14, with 24 others injured. The 24-year-old shooter was one of the university students. He was also found deceased. The body of the shooter’s father was also discovered among the dead. This is considered the deadliest mass shooting in the Czech Republic.
According to reports from Reuters, the Czech government declared December 23 a day of mourning for the victims of the shooting.
Prague Police Chief Martin Vondrasek stated that earlier in the day, a report was received indicating that the man was likely leaving his town in the Kladno region to head to Prague with intentions to end his life. Following this report, the shooter’s father was found deceased.
