VIDEO: Azerbaijan's Latest Show at the Occupied Stepanakert Football Stadium

A football match between Azerbaijani clubs took place at the Stepanakert football stadium in occupied Artsakh. Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev personally kicked off the game.

Aliyev also delivered a speech before the match, which was part of the Azerbaijan Football Cup's 1/8 finals featuring 'Karabakh' against MOİK.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Azerbaijan removed chairs in the colors of the Artsakh flag from the stadium, replacing them with Azerbaijani ones.

Recently, a bus traveling to occupied Stepanakert was involved in an accident, resulting in the deaths of Elkhan Samadov, the president of the Azerbaijani Professional Football League, and Aslan Shahgiyaldiev, the vice president. Azerbaijani media reported that the Mercedes Vito vehicle, heading towards Stepanakert on the Yevlakh-Aghdam-Lachin route, lost control and collided with a road sign.
