The Issue is Removing Shahramanyan from the Game: 'Hraparak'

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that the President of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, has smoothly integrated into the Armenian authorities following his participation in the parliamentary inquiry committee regarding the 44-day war. Of course, this does not involve high-ranking circles, as since his return from Artsakh, he has not been granted an audience with Prime Minister Pashinyan. Instead, it is middle-tier officials who are trying to cushion him and remove the Artsakh issue from his control.

No matter how many oaths of loyalty he swears to the government, there will be no unconditional trust in him. The challenge for these circles is to remove Shahramanyan from the game and promote Samvel Babayan as the 'regulatory' authority on issues concerning the residents of Artsakh. Recently, Babayan and Shahramanyan met to discuss the issue of the return of Artsakh residents.

Babayan has once again insisted that he be authorized to negotiate with Azerbaijan to attempt to resolve the return issue. If that does not succeed, then they should try to compactly settle them in Syunik.
