VIDEO: Illegal Extraction Case in Armavir
On December 13, investigators from the Armavir regional department of the police received information that illegal extraction of gravel-sandy mixture was taking place at the beginning of Nor Artages village. Law enforcement officers dispatched to the location discovered trucks loaded with gravel-sandy mixture, a hoist, and other lifting equipment. The drivers of the trucks were summoned to the department, where they reported that they did not possess the necessary documentation for the extraction of the gravel-sandy mixture.
The next case of illegal extraction was revealed on December 14. The criminal investigation unit of the Armavir regional department received information that illegal extraction was occurring along the road from Zartonq to Arevik. Upon following up on the received information, law enforcement officers found a large quantity of gravel-sandy mixture, a sand washing point, a hoist, an excavator, and trucks at the specified location, alongside water pits of various sizes and depths and a tracked excavator located 500 meters away.
In this instance as well, the drivers were invited to the department, where they provided details about the extraction, loading, and transportation of the gravel-sandy mixture.
On December 15, information was received at the Armavir regional department's criminal investigation unit regarding illegal extraction of volcanic ash in the village of Lernagog. Two trucks loaded with volcanic ash and a hoist in operation were found at the specified address. Approximately 200 meters away, masses of volcanic ash were located. It was also revealed that on that day, seven trucks of volcanic ash had already been transported to Dalarik. The trucks were moved to the special territory under the department's protection.
Documents compiled for all cases have been sent to the Armavir regional investigation department, and examinations have been appointed.
