More Children in Gaza Could Die from Disease than Bombardment

In the Gaza Strip, childhood mortality from diseases resulting from a lack of water, food, and hygiene could exceed the number of deaths caused by Israeli bombardments. This was announced by James Elder, the official representative of UNICEF.

“Without sufficient drinking water, food, and personal hygiene supplies, childhood mortality from diseases could surpass the mortality from bombardments,” he wrote on his X microblog.
