Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports on Excavator Operator's Death
On December 20, at 14:10, the crisis management center of the Shirak regional rescue department received a report that there had been a landslide of mining material in the area of the Byurakn village mine, and the excavator operator was trapped in the cabin, requiring the assistance of rescuers. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was noted that two fire-rescue units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that there had been a landslide of ore, and the excavator operator, K. G. (born in 1987), was trapped in the driver's cabin. Emergency medical personnel recorded his death. Rescuers retrieved the excavator operator's body from the debris.
