AACT Director Armen Abazyan Awarded the Rank of Lieutenant General

During a solemn session dedicated to the Day of Security Personnel, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that a request has been submitted to the President of the Republic to award a group of employees from the National Security Service with the "Combat Service" medal.

He also emphasized that by the decree of the President of the Republic, Director of the NSS, Major General Armen Abazyan has been granted the military rank of Lieutenant General, while NSS Deputy Director Andranik Simonian has been awarded the military rank of Major General.
