The Lion's Share of Armenia's Resources Placed on the Nagorno-Karabakh Issue: Pashinyan
We want Armenia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence, statehood, and democracy.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in an interview with Public Television: “I am the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the interests of Armenia must guide us. All of us, starting with me and including previous leaders, have allocated 70-80 percent of Armenia's resources, the lion's share, to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.”
Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia has not had a foreign policy but rather a Nagorno-Karabakh agenda: “Armenia has not had a security agenda but a Nagorno-Karabakh security agenda. We have not taken into account that this issue is unresolved given the Lisbon and Istanbul summits and the Madrid Principles. We have placed our resources on an unsolvable problem,” he noted.
