Security Council Meeting Held

The Security Council meeting was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Besides the members of the Security Council, the meeting was attended by President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Araik Harutyunyan, Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Permanent Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan, and Head of the ‘Civil Contract’ Faction in the National Assembly Hayk Konjoryan.

During the meeting, issues regarding the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, ensuring Armenia's food security, the automated system for the unified management of the Armenian Armed Forces, and other matters related to Armenia's security were discussed. Reports were delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Edward Asryan, Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, and other officials.
