Guterres: Ready to Support Armenia and Azerbaijan

Significant steps have been taken in recent weeks towards the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by Stephane Dujarric, the official spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, in an interview with the Azerbaijani Report agency.

"The Secretary-General welcomed them, and we are ready to support Armenia and Azerbaijan in advancing the normalization of their relations," emphasized the official spokesperson.

The UN has noted that they are prepared to assist both Armenia and Azerbaijan in the efforts towards normalizing relations.

Guterres is set to visit Baku to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
