Black Ice in Some Areas: Current Situation on Roads in Armenia

As of 17:00 today, there are patches of black ice on the roads including the Lanjik-Azatak, Horum-Artik-Alagyaz, Vanadzor-Dilijan, and Shinuayr-Hardjis sections, as well as in the Vardenyats Pass and the Sisian region.

The Vardenyats Pass and the Gndevaz-Jermuk road are difficult to traverse for vehicles with trailers.

Other interstate and national roads remain open. Road construction teams are actively working on clearing operations and applying salt and sand treatments on the roads.
