Details on the Health Condition of the Woman Attacked by a Rabid Dog
The health condition of a young woman transported to the National Center for Infectious Diseases following a dog attack shows no positive dynamics and continues to be evaluated as extremely serious. This was stated by Mariam Tsatryan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Health, in an interview with "Factnews."
She emphasized that the woman remains under the supervision of doctors. When asked whether it is possible to clarify the actual cause of the woman's deteriorating health condition, she mentioned that this could only be discussed once the results of the epidemiological examination are ready.
“Only the epidemiological examination can indicate the real cause of the woman’s health deterioration; however, time is needed for that examination,” Tsatryan stated, highlighting that our country is equipped with the appropriate rabies vaccine, and all medical centers that have applied receive it in the required dosage.
It should be noted that the affected woman is from the Lernagogh community in the Armavir province and is a mother of four children.
