Closed and Impassable Roads in Armenia

There are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia. This information is provided by the Rescue Service.

The road from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Karkar Lake is closed in the Aragatsotn province, as well as the Kapan-Sisian-"Zanger" road in the Syunik province for heavy vehicles.

The Vardenyats Pass (for trucks with trailers), the Saravan-"Zanger" stretch (for trucks), and the roads to the villages of Bavra, Lanjik, and Jajur in the Shirak province are difficult to traverse.

There is black ice on the roads in the Tigranashen twists and on the roads in the Aragatsotn province.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia of the Russian Federation, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is closed for heavy vehicles.
