A Citizen of Armenia Passes Away on a Flight to Yerevan

A tragic incident occurred at Zvartnots Airport yesterday, December 17. At around 09:30, the police department of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs at the Zvartnots Airport received a call reporting that a citizen had died on the aircraft.

According to Shamshyan.com, investigators found that a 65-year-old Russian citizen, identified as Sh. Aghekyan, suddenly passed away during the flight from Novosibirsk to Yerevan. An external examination of the body did not reveal any signs of violence.

A criminal case was initiated at the investigative department of Zvartnots Airport regarding the incident. As per the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been scheduled.
