Video: Israeli Soldiers Assault Turkish Journalists in Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem have assaulted Turkish journalists who allegedly provoked military personnel, shouted insults, and filmed the reaction of Israelis. This was reported by blogger Alexander Lapshin on his Telegram page.

«In Turkey, this incident has been widely covered by media for the second consecutive day, with Turkish newspaper headlines reading: 'Our journalists arrived in Jerusalem, which has always been part of Turkey, and Israeli occupiers have no right to tell our citizens where to go and how to behave,» wrote Lapshin. He added, «In terms of hostility towards the Jewish people, Turkey is confidently competing with Iran on this issue.»

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid stated that in light of the unacceptable and overtly hostile attitude of the Turkish authorities towards Israel, the genocide of the Armenian people should long have been recognized, severing ties with Turkey.
