Ukraine Will Not Receive Financial Assistance from the EU
Julya
Hungary has blocked the decision to allocate €50 billion in economic assistance to Ukraine at the European Union summit. According to Charles Michel, President of the European Council, EU leaders will revisit this issue at the beginning of next year.
In addition to the €54 billion in economic aid, the EU plans to allocate €24 billion for military assistance to Ukraine. European leaders have not yet announced what will happen with this latest €24 billion amount, but later Charles Michel expressed confidence that Ukraine will receive these funds after all.
