The White House Has Made an Announcement

The United States believes that it will no longer be able to assist Ukraine by the end of the year unless Congress decides to allocate new funding. This statement was made on Thursday, December 14, by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

“As we have already stated, we will find ourselves in a situation by the end of the year where we will not be able to assist Ukraine,” she told reporters, confirming the administration’s forecasts regarding the depletion of funds allocated for military assistance to Kyiv.

The White House representative emphasized that if Congress does not agree to support President Joe Biden’s request, the funds from Washington will be “completely exhausted” by the end of the year.
