VIDEO: Odesa Region Attacked by Drones Overnight
On the night of December 14, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using "Shahed-136/131" strike drones and S-300 surface-to-air missiles, as reported by Meduza.
According to Ukraine's Armed Forces Command, approximately six missiles were fired towards the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions around midnight. Drones were launched in three waves towards the Odesa region. Ukraine's air defense systems managed to destroy 41 out of 42 drones that attacked Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports that a case of a projectile hitting an economic facility has been recorded in the Odesa region. A passenger car nearby was also set on fire, and another 11 buildings were damaged.
At the site of the explosion, 11 people were injured. Following examinations by medical personnel, five injured individuals, including three children, were hospitalized.
No information has yet been released by Ukrainian authorities regarding the aftermath of the missile strikes. The main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region has also released video footage and photographs.
